This is a wonderful small-scale oak bureau on bracket feet. This handsome bureau opens to reveal a sweet little desk. The desk holds five small drawers and a center well that leads to two secret compartments at the back of the two side drawers. In the bureau below the folding desk is a faux drawer with two pullout slats used to support the table top. The bureau has four graduated drawers with brass escutcheons and rounded wooden knobs that were most likely added in the 1800s.
